Abdul Habib

Hi. The following is a story about how a 6 foot 10 inch left arm fast
bowler got a chance to play first class cricket.

The cricketers name is Mohammad Irfan and he's in his mid-20s. He had
been trying to get into a first class domestic team in Pakistan his
whole life but he had no influential contacts nor was he from a rich
family so he never got a chance. The coaches would pick him for a
first class team but he would have his name dropped from the final
list in favour of some rich or well connected cricketer instead.

In any other country in the world a 6'10 left arm bowler who clocks
130k would have been treated as valuable asset but in Pakistan he
wasnt even picked by a single domestic team.

Earlier this year I sent Irfan to see the Pakistan assistant coach
Aqib Javed at the NCA in Lahore. Aqib was so impressed that he kept
Irfan at the NCA (National Cricket Academy) and had him coached by the
best coaches in Pakistan.

As a result Irfan has now secured a first class contract with KRL for
the upcoming season. This KRL contract was thanks to the hard work
done by KRL opener Azhar Ali who fought hard for months for Irfan to
be given a chance with KRL.

Irfan made his debut on Saturday 10th October against PIA but went
wicketless on a very flat track where the match ended up drawn.

Irfan is currently playing his second first class game against the
near international strength Habib Bank team and he has picked up 2
wickets already with one bowling innings to go.

This is a chance for you to add your name in support of the Mohammad
Irfan story by adding yourself to his facebook page as someone who
